29. I'm so sorry.

My first "in-my-own-place" pet was a yellow tabby that was born in my apartment. He lived to be almost 16, and was around for so many events and things.

When you look at pictures of other things while you had him, you might find the same thing I did. That even when no one was paying attention to my cat, he was always in the room with us, whatever the party dinner or other get-together was. Lounging under a table, or on the back of the sofa. Just content to hang out and be around.

It is so hard to lose that kind of friend and companion.
