that some of the folks answering this question in the affirmative might have an interest in a history podcast about the connection between true crime and the arts, I am going to shamelessly provide the link to my youngest son's podcast discussing just that: https://www.artofcrimepodcast.com/

The first season of his podcast was devoted to artists who had been suspected of being the notorious and never caught Jack the Ripper. The second, and current season, is focused on artists connected in some way to being assassins. The episode that just dropped last week concerns a German artist who was implicated in an assassination attempt on Hitler. That episode is one of his favorites that he's produced so far this season, and is fascinating.

My son has always been intrigued with both horror and true crime, to the extent that his dissertation at Yale was focused on the staging of horror from 1794-1931 in London theatre.

It's been a long time since I was scared during a horror Backseat Driver Jun 2023 #1
