Watching movies on YouTube and ad-blockers [View all]

I'm a huge fan of old movies, the more obscure the better, and I watch most of them on YT. Got a pop-up from Google this morning when I signed into my account saying that if I watched three more videos with my ad-blocker on, I would be blocked from watching any more. Now, I'm not opposed to advertising as such and realise that they have to make a living, but when I'm watching a 62-minute long British B-feature from 1960 that has had about 8 views and there are 12 breaks for ads every 4 or 5 minutes (which happened before I installed the blocker) it pisses me off. It shows no respect for the creators of the film (often cutting off in the middle of a scene) and ruins the viewing experience. Play 3 or 4 ads in a block every 20 minutes or so if you must, I'd be fine with that, but for now I'll be watching without signing in. I can live without having the ability to comment on stuff I like. Anyone else had similar messages?
