"I even love the goofy songs (Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, Bungalow Bill, Rocky Raccoon, Honey Pie) probably because I came to this album when I was a kid..."

You took the words out of my mouth. I was in kindergarten / first grade when my older brothers turned me on to the Beatles, and I became absolutely absorbed by Sgt. Peppers and the White Album, so I love both in their entirety.

BTW- I got to attend a lecture in Abbey Road studio 2 in 2013 on my 48th birthday. I managed to finagle my way into playing the final chord of "A Day in the Life" on the Mrs. Mills piano which was used extensively on Peppers and the White Album and was one of the pianos used for the final chord, as two other guys played the other two pianos used on that chord. It was like sheer magic for me to be able to do that.
