but my favorite are Krispy Kreme when the store has its' light on that indicates a new batch just came out of the fryer.
Sadly, all the ones close to me have closed so I don't get to go very often.
It bugs me that crappy Dunkin Donuts are popping up all over and they don't even cook them at the store. They get a truckload from somewhere every morning and you get that stale shit all day. Dunkin Donuts is the Britney Spears of donuts. Kinda pretty but no substance.

As a transplanted southerner, until I was 21, Krispy Kreme was the only donut for me.
