No friends or relatives bother to call. Even direct siblings. It really hurts. We have a few Christmas cards but they never bother to call. The only person that called us was my Mother and she died in May.

I secretly hope to win the lottery to watch them grovel then say - where were you during the holidays and didn't bother to call us?

I cry alone at night so hubby doesn't see but he knows. And I know it upsets him too.

Perhaps next year a DU Christmas meetup??
