Some nice angles on The City, and some interesting sights on the old T. I. navy base. Yerba Buena Island has some good vantage points if you drive up toward the Coast Guard housing on top of the hill.

I wanted to get some shots of the tower they are using for the retrofit; but it was raining pretty good when we left, and Mrs. Adso looked at me askance when I suggested hiking off to find a better spot.

It seems that thrashing around on a pitch-black slope covered with soaking wet eucalyptus and scotch broom isn't quite what she has in mind when I suggest a Saturday night out...
