Some concepts are universal, religious or not. I attended a Southern Baptist church growing up.

There was nothing a secular Democrat in the present time would object to as far as respecting Equality for all.

He mentioned civil rights and school prayer, my church didn't object to that school prayer being banned. They fully supported it as a matter of freedom and conscience and a supported secular government.

They got messed up in the years prior to Reagan and they've all gone to blazes, and that's why I no longer am willing to attend any church. The churches are now corporations and teach those values, with nothing of what I value. The issues they bring to the political arena are fraudulent.
