3. Don't feel badly.

I got blocked for telling a poster that CNN did cover Sanders' announcement that he was running, and providing links, after the hot-breathed assertion was erroneously made that no one was covering it (this was the first announcement, too, mind you, during the Baltimore riots--not the speech announcement in VT).

I got an "insufficient loyalty" dressing down, too.

I like Bernie Sanders way, WAY better than most of his supporters, I'm afraid. They are NOT helping the man one bit. It's as if they want to alienate anyone who doesnt profess undying loyalty right from the get-go.

That's not how campaigns work.

I'm from MA, so in the run-up to Kerry's campaign, I rather felt obligated to support him, having voted for him down the years...but I really, REALLY did like Howard Dean, my whole family did. So, we were rooting for him, and would have been overjoyed had he made the cut. Had he not imploded before it came time for me to cast my primary vote...welllllllll....? Who knows how I would have voted in that circumstance?

But I live in a Super Tuesday state, and Dean backed out two weeks before we even went to the polls. So my loyalties were never tested....We didn't have to make any hard choices by the time we were asked to weigh in, so....there ya go.

Maybe my memory is failing me, but I don't remember Dean supporters being nasty about other candidates. There IS that, too....

Seems like you had someone turning 50 shades of red. William769 Jul 2015 #1
