Yeah, I have an idea: Let the Arabic League handle this. They refused to say something bad about Gaddafi, they refused to say something bad about Assad, always talking sweet diplomatic nothings from their high horse.

The West has nothing to gain from expanding its military engagement: It's simple psychology.
Studies have shown that workers get demotivated by bad things in the workplace, but in turn they don't get motivated by good things in the workplace.
If the West expands its military commitment in Syria and everything goes wrong, prepare for a new generation of islamic extremism. If everything goes right, prepare for indifference and ignorance.



For real peace, lasting peace, to come to the Middle-East, the Arabs would have to get rid of their dictatorships and learn some religious tolerance. (Europe learned religious tolerance through 300 years of bloody wars.) Until then, all attempts are futile.
