In reply to the discussion: Lessons on hypocrisy from Syria [View all]shira
(30,109 posts)5. Count the number of UN resolutions and compare that number to those against Israel....
It's no contest over the past 2 years.
Here's a video 3 weeks after Assad gassed thousands. There had been no emergency session at the UN up to that point because the UN was too busy singling out and obsessing about Israel.
Now the thing is, if you read the OP you'd notice it's about Palestinians and Christians in Syria who are suffering and being killed. The silence about these 2 groups is deafening because Jews can't be blamed for their plight.
This is the corrupt, broken UN you support....a UN that couldn't give a shit about Palestinians and Christians unless Jews can be blamed. And you thought they were pro-Palestinian, didn't you?
Where are all the resolutions condemning Arab regimes for their plight in Gaza, Syria, Egypt....? Name one. Just one!

A condemnation is not a resolution. Try again? Israel gets condemned a lot too....

You didn't count many resolutions vs Syria. There've only been a few in the past 2 years....
