Brown burger &/or sausage with onions & garlic

I usually make fairly large pots of soup - so get 2-3 large cans of crushed & pureed tomatoes & a can or 2 of tomato paste boiling while burger is browning.

Chop up a large head of cabbage & toss into tomato base, add meat & boil till cabbagd is tender.

Some folks add carrots, rice and/ or brown sugar. I don't personally.

If you look up cabbage roll recipe & find one that sounds good, just modify to stovetop & omit the tedious boiling & rolling of cabbage. 😊👍
