(under your supervision) for an extended period of time and she WILL get used to it.

(Do this after she has recently relieved herself, so you're not feeling anxious about the timing.)

If they left you with a crate for her, don't be afraid to use it. Keep her in the crate between outings outside. Play with her and give her free run inside after she relieves herself outside.
