Really?

Of course, your language, laced with obvious contempt, seriously dilutes any weight your words contain, but pushing that aside for now, what did you really think was going to happen?

Millions of gun owners renouncing guns en masse?

Or do you have the viewpoint that pretty much all gun owners, by the fact that they own guns, are making a dangerously irrational decision to do so, but you had hoped that Newtown would have "snapped" them out of it?
