Dispatching an inevitable invasion with a pre-emotive strike that took down the threat in 6 days. Israel apologized for the attack, saying that the USS Liberty had been attacked in error after being mistaken for an Egyptian ship.

How about if Ukraine had struck a poorly marked US spy ship thinking it was Russians?

I don’t know if you’re posting this to be anti-Israel or just for historical purposes, but what’s a country to do, in your opinion?
