won the team rhythmic gymnastics *snicker* and an Israeli of Yemenite descent won the individual. That's the one where the Russian athlete (or maybe her coach) lodged a protest and she pouted and cried.

One thing I don't understand about rhythmic gymnastics as opposed to regular gymnastics is how they are allowed to make an "inquiry" about the score. It's like a protest. They can only inquire about the judges' score on the difficulty, not on the execution. Seems to me of that's allowed there it should be allowed in regular gymnastics, or shouldn't be allowed at all (I vote for the latter, it just takes up a lot of time and the judges don't change the score anyway_.
