12. What a lovely tradition!

I've never heard of the silent supper, but I do know many indigenous traditions are focused upon ancestral reverence, including a shrine of ancestors' favorite things and placing tood on the shrine throught the day as meals are prepared.

I'm sonewhat of a (largely self-taught) cultural anthropologist.
