That is essentially the mantra of the Bernie Sanders campaign right now. Despite all Bernie's earlier complaints that the Superdelegate process is undemocratic, he is now arguing that, for the first time in history, Superdelegates should overturn the will of the popular vote and the pledged delegate lead.
And it should strip away the nomination from the first woman nominee of a major party ever -- a woman who in all likelihood will have rightfully come out ahead by 3 million in the popular vote and ~300 in pledged delegates.
Historic female nominee who overwhelmingly won among the voters? Nah. Strip it from her and give it to the white dude.
And Bernie really thinks that Hillary supporters and women will be cool with that? It's one thing to eventually support the candidate who won fair and square against yours. But if Bernie thinks Hillary supporters would accept this and get behind him, he's nuts. What arrogance.
