2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Post removed [View all]DCBob
(24,689 posts)45. So you go from "loving the Clintons" for years to basically despising them this year.
And this is based on what you think were "suspicious primary results" and "dirty campaigning". I find that hard to believe. That makes no sense whatsoever. The Clintons have not changed.. they were always tough campaigners and pushed the envelope a bit. I dont see much of difference at all this campaign season versus 2008. If anything I would say Hillary was more reasonable and cautious with her words and actions. It sounds to me you simply bought into all the conspiracy theory nonsense due to your disappointment with your favorite candidate losing. Take another look after your disappointment settles.. I suspect you will see it another way.

I find it truly baffling that someone would want to help Trump by not voting in November.

Your candidate lost, so you're taking your ball and going home. And yes, he lost fair and square.

Sounds like you're a good candidate for the national embarrassment known as the "Fart-In".

When I took one of those "which candidate is for you?" tests, Marco Rubio came in dead last for me

Anyone not voting for president because of some dumb crusade is part of the problem.

Why would you leave? Insulting between the different factions is supposed to end. That in no way

Yes, when the Dixicrats left the party, they left Ronald Reagan...so he eventually joined them.
