Then it stands to reason that visitors to these sites are going to see things they would otherwise not wanted to.

Worse, however, is that over time people might come to think that what is offered is representative of what the society enjoys and, thus, "normal".

When, of course, it's not.

Not any more than the food offered at a fried food all-you-can-eat place is normal or healthy.
