The chances that people we admire today will go over to the Dark Side tomorrow are yuuge!

That's how corruption works. And that's why it's so insidious.
Its siren song is almost impossible to resist.
That's what makes people like Bernie Sanders, Bill Moyers, Amy Goodman, and just a few others so extraordinary.
Make no mistake: None of these people is perfect. And some may still follow the crowd over to the Dark Side. But for the time being, each demonstrates a strength of character that most of us can't even dream of matching.
You can't truly know how you'll react until you've been tempted.
