In reply to the discussion: Why Did Bernie Sanders Endorse the Extremely Gross Sexist Cenk Uygur [View all]booley
(3,855 posts)Seems that is kind of important to the story.
Yes, it does get around to mentioning that all the posts came from " late 1990s and early 2000s"... way down the in the story.
And that Cenk apologized and denounced his comments.. way down in the story
This is called "Burying the Lead"
Linking this to Sanders, implying Sanders is sexist or at least comfortable with it, is called guilt by association. It also suggests Sanders female supporters are somehow stupid.
Personally we have forgiven Democrats who haven't' changed or apologized. We have recognized there is a degree of separation between people even when they are closely associated (Cough cough Hllary Clinton/Harvey Weinstein)
I think we can forgive someone who [link:https://thehill.com/homenews/media/366156-young-turks-founder-apologizes-for-ignorant-past-blog-posts-about-women|admitted they were wrong and did a 180 on his views.

BTw if Christy Hill has wanted Sander's endorsement, maybe she should actually state what her positions are? Her web site doesnt' seem t think this is important enough to highlight.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
