Democratic Primaries

(4,429 posts)that most of the folks I work with are 'never Biden' people. They won't vote for him. They are young and very progressive. They represent a certain demographic that wants to move more to the left - and doesn't have an interest in compromise.
So, Biden has also alienated voters. I think people hope that younger voters will turn out for him just because he's the only choice (should he get the nod). People also hoped for that last time around.
FWIW, I held my nose and voted for Hillary. I would do the same, this time around. But I'm not young . And I'm more practical.
I just think it's foolish to assume that the young will turn out enthusiastically for Biden. They didn't last time around - with (what I think) is a similar choice.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
