8. Last evening, a reporter from our local CBS affiliate interviewed

several people about their opinions regarding who should be the Democratic nominee. Each had something to say about one or another candidate. Most striking to me, however, was a young woman who is a 20-something student at the University of Minnesota. She said, and I quote:

"I support Bernie Sanders. Free college and healthcare - what's not to like?"

It made me sad, because she's not going to get either thing, even if Sanders is elected. And that's the bottom line.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
