Everytime I click on an NYT story there's that ad of the slutty looking school girl staring right at me. Damn thing fools me everytime because I think it's a pic for the story that I am reading. AND what's with this girls outfit? NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/07/10/national/10florida.html?th

7. Well...I'm a guy so my exploitation is minimal |
|
but I do hate the exploitation of others.... This ad's been on the NYT page for sometime... I'm surprised that there hasn't been any reaction to it...

I assure you that kind of attire won't work in the public schools here... but i would give the add a second look.
Its funny how that works.

5. What is This Ad's Target Audience? |
|
Ostensibly, it's parents of children approaching college age. Why would Nationwide suggest their children are nymphettes? Methinks Nationwide's ad writers are sucking crack pipes.

for exploitation, I don't thnk anything can beat the shot of the young Marine in dress uniform, saluting w/ the stump of his missing hand as the Reagan cortege passed by.
nearly lost my lunch & when I unloaded on an old frend, a ret. Marine officer, our friendship crashed, probably forever.

I think the ad writers were trying to convey that the little girl was going to grow up before the parents have a chance to prepare for her college education.
