Psychosis controls the Political Process |
|
Honestly, who in the RW isn't a complete psychopath?
George W. Bush - On Meds
Dick Cheney - Has issues
Karl Rove - Has issues
Rick Santorum - Definitely has issues
Have you ever heard of the Council of National Policy?
When I finally found some 'dirt' on them, I kind of regretted that I had done so.
This little council that controls the GOP is not only a who's who of RW'ers, but it is also a who's who of lunatics.
For example, Brent Bozell discussed how the 'liberal' media may have cost Kerry the Election.
All over the transcripts of their speeches, certain things like:
Narcissism
Several Phobias
Outright Delusion
And more all screamed at me.
We don't let people who are this crazy hurt us, but yet people who are this crazy are in charge! We must do something!

But I suspect that some of the religious, no, the ultra-right, ultra-religious bigots, to which these kind of groups cater, have serious "issues" as well. What are they up to now, anyway, DSM4(r)? I think that text would have many answers - or at least - candid, accurate descriptions (and possible avenues of treatment).

It's extremism. It's when you loose control of reality, and the ability to think coherently. You then becomes a vessel for every other mental ailment, because the boundaries between normal and mad becomes invisible. There's just nothing holding you back. Add the immense group pressure by your peers and the select reality picture provided by propaganda, and normal becomes mad and vice versa.
I have studied a group of Norw. rightwingers for a year, and there is nothing you can say or do to change them. This group is a mix between native and expat (Norwegian-American) rw'ers, and they have a board at the largest Norw. conservative newspaper. The interesting thing about that place is that the mods doesn't delete posts unless you're actually threatening to kill someone, or break the law in other ways. The word is free, and subsequently, you can try any method to see how they react.
I had no idea people could be this stupid.
