Favourite album tracks
I recently made an mpeg compilation of all my top songs by my fave band, Talking Heads.

They were all mpegs dragged-and-dropped from album folders, and the file name of each one began with the number with which the track was placed on the album - eg '05 Wild Wild Life' - the 5th song on the True Stories album.

Anyway, when I looked at the compilation folder, I discovered that my favourite tracks were almost invariably numbers 2, 4, 5 or 9 on any given album.

Check it out and see if the formula holds true.

1. My favorite Moody Blues album
is Sol De Mer, and the first track on the first side, first track on the second side, and the last track (Deep) are my favorites.

2. 'fraid thats not the case for me.
Velvet Underground albums peak towards the middle an end, only Loaded starts out strong.

Wouldn't "last track, first side" be number 4 or 5?

Edit: Reply to post 4, sorry.

Double edit: Oh. Same poster. Shit. Bollocks.

Triple edit: "Natasha" is the name of my dearest friend with whom I was attempting to dance to house music at the club tonight (see other thread). Whoever you are, merely by nomenclative (?) association, you feckin' rock.

6. You all suck so motherfucking much.
Just kidding, everyone here is lovely.

(Unless lurking freepers are trying to destroy my controversial and earth-shattering album track theory. Hmmm...)

Perhaps it only works for Talking Heads albums.

If you're me.
