If you have an Xbox, like Star Wars in the least, and like or interested n any kind of adventure game, then you MUST go out and buy Knights of the Old Repubic. It takes place 4,00 years before Darth Vader, but you will ee how the Sith got started. have plaed it so far for 12 hours Friday and Saturday total, and I hav startd training as a jedi  This is awesome! And no spoliers, you have to play the game yourself. Ok, just one--you can be the good Jedi, or an absolute badass stonecold Darth Maul type. Go get it!

3. Doom 3 is SO last year... |
|
I'm personally waiting for Half-Life 2. I want my crowbar! (In truth, I think Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 are both amazing, but for different reasons.)

2. I just bought an XBox system for my son last night... |
|
and I have been hogging it to play Sega's Sonic disk, with about 5 different classic sonic games!
I am digging the XBox system--it has better graphics than playstation2 and performs better all the way around!
We also bought the wireless game pad, which is great, because you can play from clear across the room, reclined on the couch.
Xbox is the best gamesystem we have tried yet!

4. I was playing it tonight... |
|
And I'm quite impressed. More character interaction like Baldur's Gate I & II were, and the locations look better than the last two Lucas movies. Plus, there's a better plot! :)

5. Is GTA Vice City available for the X-Box? |
|
That's the game I really want to play. Everyone I've talked to says the X-Box is the best game platform out there, but Sony has the edge on games. What are your thoughts?

6. GTA Vice City won't be coming to the Xbox any time soon.... |
|
Right now, it's exclusively a PS2 and a PC version (The PC version is damn near perfect!!!) I believe it's going to Gamecube, but I could be wrong.

But I'm running it on a 1.2GHz Celeron laptop--not the ideal platform. Actually, it looks pretty good when I play it on my TV, using the s-video cable, but it's pretty slow. Any suggestions on speeding up performance? (I've turned off all the XP interface 'extras.')
