Yuck. I don't like such movies and their cheap supernatural tricks.
Give me realism. Give me a father hugging his son in "Breaking Away" over some stupid pitch and catch ghost dad in "Field of Dreams."
What's with bringing the mouse back to life? Or sucking out the woman's brain tumor? We're supposed to be emotionally affected by something we know is not real? Well, I'M NOT! There was more love and miraculous emotion in one minute of "Lorenzo's Oil" than in 3 hours of "The Green Mile".
Yeah... it's a 1999 movie, and I just rented it for the first time. 3 hours of my life I won't get back!

1. You're lucky, it took me longer than 3 hrs to read the book |
|
I kept waiting for it to get better somehow. Ita with you on this one.

2. I get enough "real" in everyday life. I rather enjoy a little |

magic when I watch movies. And I enjoyed the Green Mile. But to each his/her own.

4. I'm inclined to try to avoid reality whenever possible |
|
because it pretty much sucks these days. A little fantasy now and then keeps me from running down the street screaming.
