You got scissors? Why, we didn't even get scissors. We had to shred with our teeth...

You got teeth? You're so lucky. We have to shred them by hitting them with rocks. Same way we chew steak.

Once they get you, that's it. And what gets me is if you apply and get rejected (like when I did when I was unemployed) they send you another application! What's that about!?

I tear everything to shreds, then I put it all in the postage-prepaid envelope, and send it back to them. Capitol One is the worst. They told me I was preapproved, and when I applied, they rejected me because I don't have a mortgage (I have outstanding credit, BTW). So anything they send to me goes right back, and they pay for it.

That's going to be my New Year's resolution. Anything that comes from Capital One or the former MBNA gets ripped up and stuffed into the prepaid envelope and sent back to them.

I've seen the post van make a wasted journey down this rural route to drop off an unsolicited financial 'offer' from a business.
Then i calculate the cost of the fuel, the cost of the printing, the trees embedded in the mailing, the inks, varnishes and public personpower that has shifted that letter the length of britain that i can chuck it in the furnace.
There's global warming for you, they're sending me the most expensive, and poor firing coal briquettes, when i'd much rather get coal if they're footing the postage like this. :-)
And with new british laws, i'll have to pay by the pound to get rid of garbage that banking companies send me... when i'm not firing the furnace.... so they end up screwin' ya somehow.
