it is a dream I have sometimes and I am just swimming and breathing. At first I'm aware tha I'm underwater and should not be able to breathe, but then in the dream...suddenly I realize I am able to breathe.
I was into diving (scuba) for years and loved it, but in this dream it so different...No tank, no snorkel.
Strange dream but I always like it. I have spent so much of my life in or on the water...perhaps this is why I have this dream. One of my favorites...
You would not believe the size of the ray I saw today. OMG I freaked out and was getting all Steve Irwin like....this ray was bigger than my kayak...what a cool sight, but DAMN my heart was pounding...

What would be the best superpower to deal with bat-shit crazy family members and in-laws? Maybe a time-machine where I can go back and prove that my sweet husband was really the milkman's son, and then I can extricate him from the whole bunch. Not that my own family is any better!
We had dinner tonight with my husband's nephew, who has done wonderfully well, after a shaky start in his early 20s. He ended up marrying a woman 16 years his senior who was a single mother to a girl my DH and I wildly love. Her daughter is now a college senior, and she has given us so much to be proud of. Our nephew and his wife also now have the most gorgeous 2 year-old little girl. However, my FiL and SiL have absolutely nothing to do with our nephew and his little daughter, because he and his wife put an emphasis on education. My nephew told us tonight, that his mother, my husband's sister, has seen his daughter perhaps 10 times since she was born, even though she passes within 5 miles of his house twice per day, 5 days a week. And my FiL, who lives 10 minutes away, has seen his great-granddaughter probably 3-4 times since she was born.
So I would want a superpower that could zap people into appreciating the wonderful people and things they have in life!
I''m sorry, I'm just really pissed off right now...

First, I could show up at SA's doorstep, or yours for that matter, any time I pleased just to scare the crap out of whoever answers my knock. I could go buy and eat fresh fruit from the outdoor markets in Costa Rica and I would sunbathe on Australian beaches during the winter months... Second, I could go back in time and fix the mistakes I made. I'd relive the whole damned life but skip over illnesses and dentist appointments & a few boyfriends too. Definitely one lover and also the husband although I'd keep the kids. (hey, it's a fantasy).
