When will the version of "All Along the Watchtower" from tonight's Battlestar Galactica be released? |

Because seriously, I want that damn song so much!
On Edit: That was really one of the most amazing pieces of television I have seen in years, and I am going to be so damn depressed when that show goes off the air.

It will be included in the super-duper final DVD collection.
And I agree with you--that was an amazing episode. It moved the storyline forward, but in a very gentle and low-key manner right until the end.
I predict that Cavil will now contact the fleet and demand a deal to save the life of the first hybrid child. Starbuck will step up and say "well, maybe Hera wasn't the first"...

3. It's available on the BSG Season 3 soundtrack |
|
Which can be purchased from Amazon. I have it.
Yeah, I'm crying that there are only 4 hours of BSG left...

4. I like sci-fi, but the new BSG never got me interested. |
|
Every episode I watched was just alot of talking, with some CGI mixed in. Some of the CGI is really good, and the effects were believable, but the pace was too slow. I never really came close to caring about the characters even though I paid very close attention and tried to enjoy it. I can remember one episode where the humans were set to ambush a bunch of Ceylons that were escorting some slaves on a planet. I was excited to see the battle take place. The tension mounted. The snipers got the Ceylons in their sights, and then...commercial. Next scene is the aftermath of the battle, and more dialogue. I mean for cripe's sake. Come on! I gave up on the whole series. I got tired of all the melodrama, sweaty bodies, dark lighting, and whispered lines.

First off - a real treat - Bear McCreary and his band (i think), the composer for BSG - performing a 6 minute version of All Along the Watchtower live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZvQf9et8QQAnd here's a clip of last night Watchtower Reprise in HD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WalRgIjHjasFinally the version that appears on the season 3 soundtrack and in the finale from last season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1__dINxiXUEnjoy. :) *on edit - this version with the emphasis on piano will likely appear on the BSG season 4 soundtrack - no word yet on release date
