Miz O bought me a 1993 Jeep Wrangler. She had our daughter's |

boyfriend check it prior to buying it - he said it is good.
I've named it 'Wilson'.
I am a fortunate fellow for having the family that I have.

2. Thanks. I've been finding and reading reviews all afternoon. One of |

my favorites was something to the effect that people who buy jeeps get them not because they need a car, but because they want a jeep.
We just came back from a ride - door tops off, bikini top on, back open to the elements. Almost as airy as riding on my motorcycle.

3. I have an 04 Jeep Liberty. I love it. |

I've only ever bought Chryslers. And the Jeep brand seems to be the best they had. Didn't they sell it recently? I will own another Jeep. Once we pay this one off, I'm trying to talk my husband into buying a wrangler. They last forever and are really just amazingly rugged vehicles.

Bought it new (my first new car) in 2000; the transmission went toes up last summer at 184,000 miles, and I just couldn't afford to fix that and everything else that was wrong with it. Sold it to my aunt's neighbor for a pittance and he's treating it like a beloved toy--sticking extra lights and chrome all over it, etc. He even CLEANED and painted the engine parts! Whatever, man, as long as "Millie" (named by an esteemed DUer since she was born at the Millennium) keeps on making people happy! :D

I had a Wrangler for a couple of years, it is bar none my favorite vehicle ever. I can't imagine a better one. In fact, when I think about the car I'd buy if I had a brazillion dollars....that's it.
Except I'd buy two- a hard top and a soft top :)
Enjoy it!
(nice job naming it to! Harkens back to the military Willys jeep days :) )

I'm still driving my '91 Wrangler with 198,000+ miles on it. It's the first new car I ever bought (my 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T coupe was my second, but a tree limb fell on it during a tornado a year and a half ago and totaled it)--the paint job has seen better days but I still get people asking me if I'd be willing to sell it to them.
Enjoy your new (to you) Jeep! :D
