3. Don't be embarassed. Despite the obvious mistake in links (I didn't know they could be linked)... |
|
. . . ... it's one of the funniest (if not THE funniest) stickies that I've seen during a fund drive. . . . Though sometimes what is an innocent depiction of a 'dickhead' can lead to some pretty serious and harsh reactions. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Or so I've heard. . :hide: . . .

5. Thanks, MFM - and here is how it got linked so others don't do it |
|
By mistake - though it could be used on purpose for a lot of fun:
The problem with the Boner gif linking to the Bernie Sanders avatar was that I had tried to link to it (the Bernie Sanders avatar) first, got an error message and decided - VERY STUPIDLY - to upload the Boner gif. I did not realize that the link to the Sander avatar image would not be removed and did not clear that box when I uploaded the Boner gif. That has to be how the link to the Sander avatar happened. It was NOT done on purpose. It was a mistake that I did not intend to make.
It's so good to see you back on a regular basis, MFM.

Mine is the meatloaf pan. I really would have picked my time and place with that in mind. WAAMMMbulance.

11. Somebody cited it against my choice of pork/turkey for the meatloaf |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-16-11 10:27 AM by UTUSN
They objected to my trifling with a "Classic recipe" (fatty beef meatloaf). I had to look up the quote, took it as a good natured joke: That if a righteous man counsels somebody against SINNING (against the Classic recipe), AND IF the recipient of the counseling does NOT sin, then the righteous man will be saved. BUT I *did* "sin" because I paid no heed to the counseling.
Only after I posted the sticky did somebody inform me that the verse was part of somebody's rant in Pulp Fiction. I skimmed through the movie back when it was current but in no way did I hear the rant or get what the verse was supposed to mean in the movie and still don't. I am clueless on so many levels, a curse and a blessing.
