not get a chance to say much of anything! Gregory was answering questions that seemed to be directed at Isikoff. Damn!

3. Whoa - they are going deep in depth on this - on Hardball! |
|
I'm impressed. No big slant (yet). I get the impression the press is really mad they've been lied to - that's what kind of comes across between the lines. It's like they realize it reflects badly on the press because they repeated BushCo lies about the leak.
More still to come ...

4. Ugh - now the slant and lies come in. |

I knew it was too good to last. We'll see how it goes next.
I think Chris Matthews knows more about this than he's telling. At least it seems that way to me in watching this.

5. Well -- he was one of the 6 reporters receiving the leak about Plame. |

Remember, Tweety got the call from Rove that said "Joe Wilson's wife is fair game."
Andrea Mitchell got a call.
Tim Russert got a call.

7. DON'T CALL IT AN OUTING!! |
|
You "out" a gay person. You BLOW THE COVER of a CIA agent. When you call it an "outing," you turn Plame from an agent of the USA into a surrogate lesbian. Don't unwittingly advance the Radical RW agenda by adopting their language!!

9. I second the idea that your comment should be its own thread! |
|
I'm calling it "blowing the cover of a CIA agent" from now on.

11. Nice long ten minute lead-in piece--great work there! |
|
Much better than the half ass four or five minutes that Anderson Cooper gave to the story about three quarters of the way into his show. Both shows had footage of Scott Mckellen's zoo of a press conference. At least the story's out there in the MSM and gaining strength. I couldn't be more pleased.
