An hour or so ago someone on CNN was speculating as to the importance of a high percentage of independent and Republican voters from Wisconsin who voted for Edwards, or as they put it, did not vote for Kerry. Blah, Blah, Blah ..... The point they missed is that these are people who, in a lot of cases, have just voted against Bush for the first time. I doubt that it will be their last. In my opnion that is the really good news. Its not that they voted for Kerry, or Edwards, or Kucinich, or Sharpton, or Dean, its that they voted for someone other than Bush. How much you want to bet that they same ones do it again in November? I am pleased, very pleased.
