Goddamnit who is this asshole they have on MSNBC for Obama? |
|
He's embarrassing me as Obama supporter. He can't name a single accomplishment of Barack Obama in the senate or illinois state senator. Where do they find these idiots? Fuck this guy.

23. Yes. He played that "Gotcha!" type of journalism and deliberately tried to embarrass the guy. |
|
Maybe he should have someone remind him of what it felt like when he was on the Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart.

That because this guy didn't know Obama's legislative accomplishments therefore there were no Obama legislative accomplishments.
At the very least, Chris could have made that point.
Instead, he humiliated the guy AND he let an obnoxious generalization stand.

32. It was AWFUL. The guy was point blank ignorant. But Chris still was tacky. |
|
He could have, at the very least (if he couldn't remember that Obama was an original sponsor of one of the most significant ethics reform bill of our time), pointed out that NO DEMOCRAT has been able to get legislation that they have sponsored through this shameful and grid-locked Congress.
That's a fact. Both Hillary and Obama have sponsored or co-sponsored tons of legislation - almost all with the same result: read twice and banished to some committee.

listing all the stuff Obama has done in the Senate and I was truly shocked.
It's a big fat lie that he hasn't done anything. His record looked much more impressive than Hillary's.
Nobody is looking for the facts because they want to paint Obama as inexperienced.

it wasn't even funny.
I wouldn't worry about it though--Obama proved tonight, again, that he's not "all hat and no cattle". He was very detailed in his plans--and it's not his fault that some state senator went on national TV without doing his research.

Used to be our mayor.
He's not in Washington, so why should he be up to day on Obama's legislative record?
Tweety IS in Washington and so is Stephanie Tubbs Jones.
They behaved like the the inside-the-beltway types they are.
Kirk Watson has his eye on Texas problems, particularly our snake of a Governor, Rick Perry and the sleazo Republicans who run the state legislature.
Tweety was being an ass.

The Obama campaign probably expected a honeymoon tonight, and sent in second-stringer surrogates. Mistake on their part. My guess is it won't happen again. Hopefully they'll prep him properly and give him a chance to redeem the credibility Tweety mugged him of.
