Obama NOT Electable!
No candidate could withstand what's coming Obama's way...All it takes is for Obama's name to pop up a few more times in these documents and recordings and I think Obama will be finished politically. Won't matter if Obama knew about the wrongdoing or not.
I don't understand why so many of you ignore the ovious...Perception!

Look Before You Leap: Obama’s Mobbed-Up Allies
By SusanUnPC on January 27, 2008 at 3:43 PM in Alexi Giannoulias, Barack Obama, Chicago politics, Tony Rezko

UPDATE x2: They’re thick as thieves … “$$$: State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias was last spotted trying to set up a Saturday morning basketball game in Las Vegas

so Barack Obama could loosen up on primary day .” — From Mike Sneed’s column at the Chicago Sun-Times, Jan. 18, 2008

UPDATE: At the end of this story, I’ve added an update showing the connection between the indicted Tony Rezko, who goes on trial Feb. 25 before Patrick Fitzgerald

and his U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago, and Alexi Giannoulias.

From the Chicago Tribune in its story, “Critics: Obama endorsements counter calls for clean government“: “In the 2006 Democratic primary, for example, Obama

endorsed first-time candidate Alexi Giannoulias for state treasurer despite reports about loans Giannoulias’ family-owned Broadway Bank made to crime figures.

Records show Giannoulias and his family had given more than $10,000 to Obama’s campaign, which banked at Broadway.”

That’s Barack Obama endorsing “granny grifter” Alexi Giannoulias, who got elected as Illinois’ state treasurer with the hands-on support of Barack Obama. Besides his mob ties, Giannoulias “was involved in an alleged mortgage fraud five years ago against an 83-year-old woman.”

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/01/27/look-before-you-leap-obamas-mobbed-upallies/

<<snip>>

Add in the Iraq reconstruction connection when Rezko goes on trial for that, and I think it will be a very damaging picture of Obama's character and judgement. He won't survive Illinois politics and Patrick Fitzgerald.

41. Whereas you are appearing dishonest and outnumbered.
The "Rezko" scam won't fly in the news. The Chicago Sun-Times articles have massive holes in them, including
the fact that the newspaper's owner Conrad Black is in prison for fraud.

Obama's already been so continually lied about by so many news sources that everybody thinks
"Osama Obama" whenever one hears a new one, so even if the articles were true it will be difficult to sell as a story.
It's a dud story.

Now take the McCain infidelity story, and there's some intrigue.

Limbaugh thinks Hillary is doing a fine job using her own vile tactics against Barack. The wingnuts are more than happy to assist in that endeavor by voting for her in the Dem primary to keep her in to do their dirty work, but even the OxyContin-ridden brain of Limbaugh sees the writing on the wall:

28. I wish an Obama supporter would have an adult response
Boy, reading these Obama-supporter replies (and not just in this thread) gives the impression they're latte-sipping neophytes - they have the put-downs pat, just like in high school. But of the facts, just regurgitated nonsense from whatever media lynching of Hillary they've watched most recently.

Regarding Rezko, it was for me suprising (as it was for Joe Conasan), that the Obama mob is going after her tax records. Firstly, she going to release them, and next, the Clintons have gone through $100M of investigations with one blow-job to show for it. And finally, are they trying to draw attention to the Rezko affair? I mean, that one is cut and dried, Obama bought property in a shady deal; in addition to the fund-raising stuff. Only a moron campaign would highlight this.

But when it comes to the issue of secrecy and an administration operating in the shadows, there's an argument to be made that the candidate least likely to turn on the lights is Hillary Clinton. Her lifelong commitment to secrecy is one of the main themes of Bernstein's book.

"Hillary Rodham Clinton has always had a difficult relationship with the truth," writes Bernstein. "She has often chosen to obfuscate, omit, and avoid. It is an understatement by now that she has been known to apprehend truths about herself and the events of her life that others do not exactly share."

Or, as Bernstein summed it up on the Today Show, "This is a woman who led a camouflaged life and continues to."

Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 05:55 PM by powergirl
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-creamer/the-clinton-big-state-m_b_90434.html

"SurveyUSA has just released state-by-state results of a 30,000 respondent nation wide survey comparing Barack Obama's and Hillary Clinton's chances against John McCain.

"Bottom line: this data shows that Obama has the best chance to defeat McCain. In the simulated match-ups he beats McCain 280 to 258 electoral votes nationwide, and is very close in several additional key states that could significantly boost his margin of victory.

"Clinton beats McCain by 276 to 262 nationwide. But her margins in several key states are much thinner than Obama's and on balance, Obama substantially increases the number of states in play."

have been convicted of felonies? I've done it numerous times (not all of them, of course, too time consuming) and it's getting old . . . even for me.
