Invasion of Afghanistan, Support of the Taliban when Russia invaded Afghanistan, Iraq War....... Are we sure that foreign policy experience is all that it's cracked up to be? Maybe it IS time to let the amateurs take over!


On edit: lest we forget, the foreign policy experts wanted to handle the Cuban Missile Crisis by bombing the hell out of Cuba and then invading.

1. Taliban: not until after the Russians left.
Other than that, I agree that our foreign policy since at least the end of WWII has been pretty dismal, with perhaps a brief interlude of not totally dismal under Carter.
