Since McCain is lying about crowd size - could he be lying about money raised? |

Is it possible his campaign is overstating their fund raising numbers to make it look like people are enthusiastic and supporting his campaign. Money raised is monitored to closely too lie about - or is it?

1. I think financial claims |
|
have to be documented. I believe it would be hard to lie about. they can "fudge" the numbers on a day to day basis but that end of the month statement has to be accurate.

2. Based on what we now know about him |
|
I think it is safe to assume that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. I wouldn't even be a bit surprised to discover that he never spent a day as a POW.

3. There's a site (people have posted it here) which is official and reports |
|
their contributions, outstanding debts, etc.
They wouldn't be able to fudge this.
