I emailed Rita Mae Brown asking if she was going to write any more Mrs. Murphy books, |
|
but I haven't heard back yet.
Has anyone ever heard or read of her talking about that?
I kind of doubt she is; she got into writing books about some woman called "Sister" and not too long ago came out with another mystery about a young woman who moved to the Southwest to live with her aunt.
Southwest one was OK, but I personally don't care for the "Sister" series.

1. I think she'll be writing more |
|
I've not heard anything about I don't think she'll stop writing them. They're very popular and whenever there's a demand... Unfortunately this recent news story doesn't really say, but you might enjoy it anyway. You'll have to scroll down a bit. http://www2.timesdispatch.com/entertainment/2011/apr/24/tdbook04-fiction-review-five-mysteries-ar-986113/Cher

5. I have all serious books... |
|
Heavy mystery dramas - need something lighter and will put Brown on my request list. Also need a touch of James Doss. Both authors will allow me to read with a smile. Food for the soul and even it needs desert.

Pay Dirt is the first one by Rita Mae Brown that my library carries. Be a couple of weeks before I get to it - thank goodness we get 4 weeks and renewal time on top of that..
Also got me 2 Doss books. :applause:
