Lawyer alert: Very strange case concerning my aunt and the city gov. |
|
government that she has worked at for about 40 some years as court clerk. I don't have all the details but apparently she took a few very old computers several years ago, (very old...my mother said they hardly work).
Anyway, my EVIL cousin, (not blood related and has some really bad sociopath type disorder) got on one of them, found out some information about my aunt and another woman and told her superiors. (We are talking about a little town in Pennsylvania)
So these superiors tell my aunt and this other woman that they either quit their jobs OR they will be charged with a crime, (theft? don't know because the information is just coming in).
So they refused to quit and they were both arrested and charged with ? (don't know but I think it is theft).
So now my aunt who is 72 is on leave and she has an attorney who is going to sue the government.
I don't even know of a question for this one because it seems so freaking weird. I know you can't tell a person to quit or you are going to charge them with a crime right?
Any comments would be appreciated. I want to help my good cousin and my aunt feel ok about about their situation and let my cousin know she won't have to take care of her mom - one of her worst fears.
My family is like the Munsters only worse.
