All investigations of Bush & Cheney will have to be shut down. |
|
If Pelosi doesn't get this Impeachment to the Judiciary Committee. Then we have to shut down all the many investigations in the House and Senate of Bush & Cheney. If they aren't going to culminate in an Impeachment and Trial. What's the point in continuing to conducting the investigations? At that point the investigations become harassment of the President and Vice President under the color of law and a political tool to skew the elections in favor of the Demoracts. Nothing more and nothing less.

all investigations must proceed at once. The point is to expose and document the specifics. It does not close any doors to impeachement. Conyers has stated over and over again that investigation is a first step.

8. Realistically were looking at other legal remedy vs. Pardon. |
|
Only Impeachment can defeat pardon.

Only an impeachment inquiry can stop them from thuggery and despotism.

11. I Do Agree That the Threat of Impeachment |

is a legitimate tool to use, and may be the only one, against Bush's desire to attack any other countries.

12. I would even go so far as to say that Obama will pardon he and Cheney |
|
shortly after he takes office. I think the only democrtic primary candidate that would not have pardoned him would have been Kucinich.

4. It's all been theatre for us anyway. |

They know they have an angry base of people. That's why they went with "investigations" instead of hearings, why they don't enforce subpoenas, and why they send legislation through they know is dead on arrival.

If they aren't willing to impeach and Obama won't prosecute, then these hearings are as much a complete and utter waste of time as some accuse Kucinich of being with his articles of impeachment.

6. Bullshit. If the trangressions were few or mild, I would agree with you. |

You know, like a consensual blowjob.
And yes, I do agree that the timing of this isn't great, but damnit, Impeachment NEVER should have been taken "off the table" by the horrid Pelosi.
I mean, tell a murderer that murder charges are taken "off the table" and see how many wind up dead in a short order, to make an apt analogy.
But you go way too far in saying it would be a base mere political tool.
THAT'S what the Bushies' impeachment of Clinton over a BLOWJOB was.
Let's not help the Bushies out by using their own bullshit Lies against each other, eh? Let's not help them project their own crimes onto us, it's victims.
The number of multiple serial felonies is now so high, ANY TIME is a good time for impeachment.
I call bullshit on you.
