One thing I've found being unemployed
and sort of working as an independant contractor-
-republicans dont pay

and when they do-they try to haggle you down to chump change.
I've resorted to not taking their business, its just a waste of my time

1. I had one Repub client claim that I should not be able to afford a Mustang
Plain old garden variety Mustang V6 $19000 off the lot, and he says he wanted discounts because there's no way I should be able to, as a network engineer, afford such a nice car off his dime. I kid you not. I fired his stinky ass on the spot.

2. Or they promise you a big contract
in a few months, to try to get you to do the current one cheap so you'll be in good standing with them.

"Christians" are even worse. Like you're supposed to do everything for them for free because they're "Christian", but they wouldn't walk across the street to throw water on you if you were on fire.

OTOH, Democrats can be a pita too because if you're not in "the circle" they automatically think you're a Republican and won't do business with you either.

4. My husband says
when he meets a person who says they are a "Christian businessman" the first thing he does is hold onto his wallet.

10. My dad always said if he was in trouble and had to
Choose between asking for help from the folks sitting in Church or the folks at a bar,
the bar would be his first inclination.

6. I got a point of never doing business with anyone sporting a Jesus
fish on their vehicle or any of their advertising. Every single time was a rip off, deadbeat and quite a few in court.

Don't tell me what a great Christian you are, let me see it by your actions.

7. Years ago I done some subcontracting
framing houses and I found out then that the person who thought he was something because he was left a pile of money were always the ones who I would have the same problems with. Take the working man, the farmers etc and they couldn't pay me fast enough. I wasn't paying much attention to the smell of their blood back then but I would bet that most were like you're finding out now that they were repukelicons

8. Oh hell, I could have told you that.
My mom did transcription work for Mormons/Republicans when we were kids. They didn't pay her, and we pretty much did without. One Mormon actually bilked my mom out of her 1965 Mustang. It broke down and he told her it would never run again. A few months later, he wanted the title because he was going to give it to his son for graduation. I have no love for Mormons, or Republicans. I've been ripped off by both more times than I can count. There's no honor among thieves and liars.

9. Republican mayor/ insurance estimate
fallen branch caused broken handrail on deck fist sized hole in roof bent gutter. She insisted that it had cracked garage foundation 16 feet away and around the corner. Sorry not going in the estimate. She then saw street dept. truck and made them clean her back yard

11. Yep, and the further you go up the socioeconomic ladder, the more deadbeats you find.
The people on top seem to feel that they are entitled to your work with no obligation to pay for it, you are just so lucky to have the opportunity to be in their presence.
