Did We Know that Roger Stone is One of Carl Paladino's "Informal" Aides? |

Now who is Roger Stone you might ask. Well he's the self-described GOP "political hitman" whose been involved in everything from the Nixon administration, to Willie Horton (though he claims that he tried to get Lee Atwater to kill the ad), to the so-called "Brooks Brother's" riot during the 2000 Florida recount.
But Roger's greatest claim to fame is the founding of...wait for it... Citizen's United...
And there's a little something else you might find interesting, Roger is also advising the Libertarian candidate in this election, Kristen Davis. No, not the actress from Sex in the City but the...wait for it again...madam associated with the Elliot Spitzer case.
Now, this isn't the first time Roger's name and Elliot Spitzer's name have come up in the same news story. It seems that Mr. Stone was forced to resign in 2007 as Joseph Bruno's (the majority leader of the New York State Senate), aide he was accused on an episode of Hardball of being the voice on an expletive-laden voicemail threatening Bernard Spitzer, father of Eliot, with subpoenas.
If I were to channel my inner "Oliver Stone" for a moment, I might wonder about the fact that when Mr. Spitzer was NY AG, he used a little known NY State Business Law called the Martin act to go after several companies with investigations and prosecutions normally done by US Attorneys and not state AGs. Were you to Google "Elliot Spitzer cases as NY AG", you would find a rather interesting list of Wall Street corporations who either lost the case or settled. You would also find that in 2005, Mr. Spitzer even got called out by the President of the US Chamber of Commerce. That would be the same US Chamber of Commerce being called out the current White House.
The founding of CU was not merely an anti-Hillary fandango but a long con designed to get the case to the USSC where it would find a favorable environment based on the current make-up of the court. And hell be unto anyone who got in the way.
Nah, this stuff is all just a coincidence...
