Is the purpose of physical occupation to get media attention? Is there any other benefit to physical occupation? Given the large number of people involved, it seems inevitable that organizing through the internet would be more orderly, more convenient, and less expensive than organizing in person.

Also, wouldn't a general strike be effective? Do you actually need people to travel to their workplaces and hold picket signs to make it clear that what happened wasn't the rapture? ;)
