Teabagger opposition to military action in Libya is pure hypocrisy |
|
I'm not in favor of military action in Libya either, but my opposition is consistent with my opposition to previous military action.
I happened to catch a little bit of Glen Beck's show earlier this week, he had former judge Andrew Napilitano, an extremist right-wing teabagger if there ever was one. The subject of taking military action against Libya, possibly in the form of a no-fly-zone, came up.
I could not believe my ears when I heard one of their biggest oppositions: that the President doesn't have the authority to commit troops into battle, that it should be left to Congress, that a declaration of war should be necessary before committing troops.
Do these idiots even think about this shit before they say it? Or are they just pandering to their racist followers?

Apparently, no-fly-zones without Congressional approval is a no-no. But invading another country? Totally acceptable, as long as you're a rethug.
