US Marines Getting Malaria in Liberia

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Ten more U.S. military personnel serving as part of the peacekeeping mission in Liberia are showing signs of having contracted malaria.

Pentagon officials said Tuesday the 10 were medically evacuated to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on Monday. They include eight Marines and two Navy sailors.

The news comes one day after 33 Marines were sent to Germany and Bethesda for treatment.
