Over here in the UK, when our Ambassador to Tashkent made public his objections to boiling people, torturing people, running sham elections, etc.

Tony Blair (or somebody in his politburo) responded by first trying to mount a smear campaign against him (accusations of sexual harassment and the like), and when that didn't work, had him fired (technically, brought back to shift papers in the Westminister toilets).

Apparently MI6/5, CIA etc (even Mossad) maintain close co-operation with this Saddam-style psycho. No doubt in 15 years we'll have to "defend ourselves" from this tyranny when it stops obeying orders; its not tyranny now, because we're backing it of course.
