I saw some astounding bad taste when I was touring concentration camps for my modern German history coursework.

In Dachau, I saw some idiots chasing each other and throwing snowballs in the campgrounds, across from the crematoria. My research has given me a rare appreciation of the scale of suffering in that place, so their behavior just enraged me. I grabbed one by the arm and asked him in German and in English if he had any idea where he was, and whether he couldn't possibly find a more suitable place to play in the snow. I also saw people posing for photos in the camps like it was Disneyland or something.
